Our program focuses on bodyweight exercises, high repetition weightlifting movements, and metabolic conditioning without the complex olympic barbell lifts and gymnastic movements used in our regular CrossFit classes. There are no prerequisite fitness levels or abilities, and we scale the workouts for every fitness level.
BootCamp 580 classes integrate the popular High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) method to burn more fat. By incorporating intense periods of work with short recovery segments, interval training helps you give maximum intensity while still maintaining your exercise form. The magic of high intensity interval training (or HIIT, for short) is that it keeps your body burning fat even after you leave the gym. During a BootCamp 580 HIIT workout, your body can't shuttle enough oxygen to your muscles during periods of hard work. Therefore, your muscles accumulate a “debt” of oxygen that must be repaid post-workout in order to get back to normal. The result: Your metabolism is revved for hours after you leave the gym. It's a training method that has been effective for many people. With Boot Camp 580 (HIIT), you can start immediately and join our Boot Camp 580 Goup WOD Classes There are more similarities than differences between CrossFit and Boot Camp, but the main difference is that in BootCamp 580, there’s an absence of heavy technical barbell work such as the Olympic Lifts and advanced gymnastic movements. With BootCamp 580 (HIIT) you start right away and is more of a continuous, fast-paced workout, and not a lot of “learned” movements or technical knowledge.
With BootCamp 580 (HIIT) you will develop your endurance, stamina, strength and speed while promoting fat loss. If you want a highly intense workout designed for any and every fitness level, but aren’t of the mindset to study the technical movements of CrossFit, then BootCamp 580 (HIIT) is the perfect option for you!
